About Us

John Moynihan - President

John has over 20 years of experience in the Healthcare space.   As general Manager of the Healthcare Vertical at Extreme Networks he helped to define and prioritize new strategic initiatives within the Healthcare vertical globally for Extreme Network's visionary software-driven networking solutions. 


Prior to this he was responsible for supporting all aspects of sales enablement and demand generation for a multinational sales organization including defining the market position for an award winning portfolio of Communication & Collaboration products across the Healthcare and Manufacturing verticals in North America.


Before that he was the Chief Technology Officer for Specialists On Call. He helped establish this start-up, concept, telemedicine business and turned it into the largest emergency telemedicine practice in the U.S. with over 60,000 emergency consults per year in hospitals across the United States. He designed an innovative IT infrastructure to support the telemedicine practice with robust, secure, video conferencing, PACS, EMR, and CRM technologies which received an exceptional rating on the IT infrastructure from The Joint Commission.

Kathleen Plath
Kathleen has more than 20 years in executive leadership roles including sales, sales management, and marketing experience for both large and small companies in the healthcare and technology industries. She most recently served as CEO and President of BioSignal Group, a medical device start-up.  She was also a founding member of the Specialists On Call team, helping to formulate the go-to-market strategy, launch and sales of the teleneurology service.  In addition, she has successfully launched clinical and financial electronic health record solutions for the home health market.   She has received numerous Marketing Awards including the Hermes Award for Branding and the Stevies Award for website design.  

Kathleen is also Co-Owner of two successful restaurants with her husband Scott, Cobblestones of Lowell and moonstones.  She helped to launch both restaurants and shares responsibility for the financial, marketing, PR and administrative functions of both businesses.  

She has been an active member of the Greater Lowell Community as a board member of many non-profit organizations including Lowell General Hospital, National Stroke Association, and the Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce.

Steve Normandin

Steven Normandin has over 30 years of management experience in various entrepreneurial ventures, with a primary focus on growing technology and service related businesses. Most recently Steve was President of AMD Global Telemedicine in Chelmsford, a pioneer in the remote healthcare market. Steve founded AMD in 1991. At that time, he saw the enormous potential benefits telemedicine could serve for the healthcare industry such as providing greater access to healthcare in rural areas, schools, prisons and the military.

Steve is an active member in telemedicine associations and organizations around the globe and has presented at numerous telemedicine forums throughout North America, South America, Europe, Africa and Asia. Steve has authored many articles on telemedicine technology and the growth and acceptance of the remote healthcare industry.

He has served as: Vice President and member of the Board of Directors at the International Society for Telemedicine and e-Health based out of Switzerland, Board of Directors at Canadian Society of Telehealth, and the American Telemedicine Association. In 2006 Steve was the first recipient of the annual “Award for Leadership in the Advancement of Telemedicine” by the American Telemedicine Association. In 2011, Steve was elected into the American Telemedicine Association College of Fellows.


Locally, Steve serves on the Board of Governors of Lowell General Hospital where he was chairperson of the LGH TeamWalk for Cancer Care for several years. Steve is Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors of Lazarus House Ministries in Lawrence MA and member of the boards of Boys & Girls Club of Greater Lowell as well as Megan’s House, a residential treatment house in Lowell, MA that works with women 18-26 years old on the path to recovery from substance abuse.
